Meet Saoirse Linder
Hi! I’m Saoirse!
AMFT | Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #148745
SHE / HER
I have always been a deeply curious person - drawn to people, their stories, their patterns, and the emotions that they carry but don’t always speak aloud. Growing up between Ireland and London, as well as doing human rights and conflict resolution work in countries like Rwanda, deepened my curiosity around psychology, culture, and what helps people feel truly seen. It is an honor to support clients on their journey of self-discovery so that they can live their most vibrant, purposeful, and fulfilling lives.
Who I Support
I will help you explore what’s getting in the way of the life you want to lead. My work with individual clients involves navigating persistent challenges like anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, emotional overwhelm, difficulty with focus and motivation, relationship struggles, and unwanted patterns that keep showing up and taking you away from the life you envision for yourself. My work with couples focuses on supporting partners in strengthening communication, increasing emotional connection, and navigating stressful transitions such as embarking on the journey of parenthood.
As a mother myself, I am also deeply passionate about supporting women as they navigate the transition into motherhood. I support women at all stages of this journey: from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. You don’t have to go through it alone, and I’d love to walk alongside you.
How I Support
“Honest, grounded, and human” are three words that describe my style as a therapist. My style is warm yet direct, supportive yet challenging when needed. I draw from evidence-based modalities including cognitive, relational, and experiential approaches tailored to your pace and preferences. Together, we’ll clarify your values, strengthen your coping capacities, and expand your sense of choice in how you live and relate.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy and attachment theory, with a focus on how early relationships and attachments shape our emotional lives and current behavior. With a background as a coach, I am also trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and will bring this modality into our work together to help you uncover and shift away subconscious patterns that are keeping you stuck. Other modalities that I draw from include narrative therapy, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems/“parts work.”
I am trained in the Gottman Method (Level 1), a research-based couples therapy modality that has proven success in supporting partners who are seeking to strengthen communication, increase emotional connection, and stay attuned to one another during stressful life transitions such as navigating new parenthood.
I believe that symptoms are clues that point to what’s meaningful, what’s unresolved, and what’s ready for healing. If you are ready to break repetitive cycles that sap energy and confidence, strengthen your emotional regulation, deepen your self-understanding, and build healthier habits, routines and structure - let’s talk!
